Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Brought Eli out in his costume today. We made a trip to United square as there was a halloween event for children organised by Toys R us. Also picked up some *cough* Tomica toys for Eli before we left for River Safari Halloween night.

Dinner: Pasta is served

Dinner is served! Vehicle shapes aren't as obvious after cooking. What's important though, is that Eli liked it! 

Apple baked ham bits and Broccoli added to the Carbonara sauce. Al Dente pasta!

Pasta Di Semola

The last time Ah Kor came to visit, she brought a pack of vehicle shaped pasta for Eli. Don't know Eli managed to get hold of it this morning. He's been playing with the pack since. Guess I'll have it prepared for his lunch later today.

Got Eli a new toy when I was at the petrol station refuelling yesterday. Pretty good quality for its price, imo. Assembly was pretty straight forward. A 5 year old would have no problems putting it together with a little adult assistance. I'm eyeing the parking facility which will be available next month.

Lunch: Daddy's back with a vengence

The last time I prepared spaghetti bolognese, let's just say Eli didn't really super duper liked it. Today, I'm gonna get him hooked onto Spaghetti Carbonara. I'm so confident.

Pan fried the Chopped - Broccoli, Oyster Mushrooms, Chipolatas & Apple Ham

Added the Carbonara sauce

Boiled the Spaghetti concurrently

Eli Loved it. He finished the whole plate!

Day 64: Playmate - Ashley

Brought Eli to visit his younger cousin, Ashley, yesterday. It was like a scene from The clash of the Titans. Two hyper actives playing together was like mixing up reactive chemicals waiting to blowup. Eli did enjoy himself and so did his cousin :)

Day 63: Housekeeping

Was overseas over the weekend and couldn't post any updates. Eli was up early this morning and as soon as he got to the living room, he started housekeeping. Starting off with his treasure chest. 

Toy: Skylanders

Found a new lease of life for the Skylanders. For people who do not know, these are character figurines from the Console video game series (Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation, Microsoft Xbox), Skylanders. Eli seems to like them alot. And it looks like he's starting to role play with them! Haha.

Day 60: River Safari Singapore - Video

Let Eli guide you through the River Safari Singapore in this 20 minute video. Apologies for the shaky video. Maybe its time to invest in a Gimbal.
It took us about 30minutes from Start to Exit, as you will see in the video, Eli loves to run around. He only stopped mid way at the bridge for some water and rest.

Day 59: Lunch timing back to normal

Started preparing lunch today at 1pm. Hopefully Eli'll finish his lunch without much `coercing'. Decided to prepare Pan fried Prawns with mushroom. Lets see if Eli likes it.

Was feeling adventurous, so I added a bit of Fresh milk into the prawns. Turned out quite nicely. Eli loved the new menu! Yeah!

Day 58: Early Lunch

Eli's daily routine got adjusted recently. Eli started sleeping 30mins earlier about 3nights ago. So I thought lunch should be served earlier as well? Ended up force feeding Eli. Poor child.

So to make up for it, we headed to Kidz Amaze @ Toa Payoh Safra right after lunch :)

Day 57: Singapore River Safari

Air quality is fair today. So once again we grabbed the opportunity and headed to the River Safari.

It took us about 30mins in total from Start to the Exit point. All thanks to Hyper-Eli. Just realised today that there are two different boat rides in River Safari. The Amazon river quest and the River safari cruise. Unfortunately both rides require passengers to be above 1.06m in height. Oh well.

Decided to shift the TV console to vacuum the back of it. And guess what? Daddy found Eli's long lost toy.

Day 56: Eli the Tankie

He absolutely loves his new Tank ride! Had been at it for most of the morning! Shooting at will at everything that was in his way (Grandma & daddy). Absolute devastation, maximum destruction.

Uncle Craig bought Eli a new Tank! It's now parked nicely along with his other rides. Will post Eli's reaction when he sees it tomorrow for the first time! :D
