Baby Market: Hoots

Its time again to visit the quarterly held baby fairs (Eli's diapers and milk powders supplies are replenished quarterly). And this time its the Baby Market 2015 @ Singapore Expo Hall 5. I was there, infact, yesterday. Had to go back again today due to diaper sizing issue.

Savings of about $3/pack vs retail price. Eli's been using the pants/pullups/walker diapers since he was on M size. Decided to go with the tape diapers for some cost savings. And especially since now he's able to stay still during diaper changes.

You can tell from the plastic bags and on the receipts that the diapers and milk powders are from Guardian.
Purchased a carton of Merries XL pants diapers (6pkts in a carton), a carton of Merries XL tape diapers. (4pkts in a carton) and 3 tins of Abbott Similac Stage 3 formula milk powder. According to the onsite promotor, there are the same size and fitting. I only found out later that day when I put on the tape diapers on Eli, that it wasn't the case.

Went back this morning again to exchange the Tape diapers from XL size to L size. However, they ran out of stocks. Ended up exchanging and topping up for another carton of XL pants diapers.

Another item which has to be replenished now and then are the Philips Avent pacifiers.
Eli loves nibbling on them now and they last between 1-2weeks.

Day 46: Dinner time

Decided to whip something different for Eli today after reading many positive feedbacks on spaghetti suitability for toddlers online.

Diced some garlic to pan fry the chopped Chipolatas

Had to dice the broccoli and camouflage it in the sauce

Eli preferred the spaghetti cut into smaller strands

Day 45: Singapore Zoological Gardens

Haze conditions got better today. So I seized the opportunity and brought Eli to the Zoo this morning. It was Eli's first visit to the Rainforest Kidzworld @ the Zoo today. We weren't exactly prepared for the water area but fortunately they had a stall selling swimming trunks and towels. Got Eli a swimming truck and we were set.

Toys: Disney's Lightning Mcqueen

I've expanded Eli's Lightning Mcqueen collection. I got these from Walmart. They're USD $3.95 each. Toys R Us are selling them at SGD$16.95-$19.90 locally. No idea why there's so much of a difference in pricing.

Day 44: Early morning

Eli got up very early this morning. He was fussing to get out of the room at 645am. I was finally overwhelmed by his constant "pursuading" at around 7am. Brought him to the living room and prepared his daily resident breakfast menu - breakfast cereals and hard boiled egg to start his day.
